Luxurious interior view of the Chamber of Louis XIV at the Palace of Versailles, showing a richly decorated canopy bed, walls adorned with tapestries and framed paintings, as well as chandeliers and sculptures. On the reverse, the postcard bears a handwritten address for Mr. and Mrs. Ch. Elversold in Champ, Germany, with a green 5-centime stamp and a cancellation from Versailles dated June 12, 1911.
