View of the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles, with its walls adorned with mirrors and painted ceiling. Printed text in French and English mentions the signing of the Peace Treaty on June 28, 1919, and the proclamation of the German Empire in 1871. Reverse: handwritten address to Angers, postmark and cancellation stamp from Versailles dated August 20, 1919.
