Panoramic view of the canal and the sea at Palavas-les-Flots, showing the Moderne Hotel de la Méditerranée with its terrace and advertising sign for Peugeot bicycles, motorcycles, and automobiles. In the foreground, boats are moored near the quay. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated 7 February 1930, sent from Montpellier to a recipient at the 56e R.A.D. 5e Batterie Montpelliéraine.
