View of the crashing sea on Parame's breakwater, with powerful waves breaking on rocks in the foreground and buildings in the background. The reverse features handwritten correspondence addressed to Adrien Malaï, at the Institut de Paris, with a green 30-centime stamp and a VENEL-DESSER cancellation dated August 16, 1928.
