View of the dyke in Paramé with a large wave breaking violently against the retaining wall, where several people observe the scene. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated June 20, 1915, sent from Paramé to Darain, mentioning a leg injury and an expectation of recovery. The publisher LL. is visible at the bottom of the front.
