View of the ruins of a monumental aqueduct in the park of Maintenon, where Louis XIV had undertaken to divert the waters of the Eure to the gardens of Versailles. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence dated 17/8/19 sent to M. Courcy in Châlons-sur-Marne, with stamp and cancellation from Maintenon dated 18/8/19.
