Description

Postcard depicting the tomb of Napoleon I at the Hôtel des Invalides, made of red granite from Finland, with 12 colossal figures by Pradier representing his victories and 54 flags taken at Austerlitz. The frame is in white marble. Reverse: sent by the Society of Friends of the Army Museum, addressed to Paul Bloch in Belvedère, Dordogne, with a postmark and cancellation stamp 'DORDOGNE'.
