Description

View of the Eiffel Tower taken during the 1900 World's Fair, with visitors in period attire walking under the arch. The printed text indicates 'EXPOSITION UNIVERSELLE 1900' at the top and 'Through the Eiffel Tower' at the bottom. The reverse bears a handwritten address to Madame L. Boveman in Chablis, a 12 centime green stamp, and a Littre cancellation dated December 21st, 1900.
