Colorized postcard showing the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, with printed text in French and English indicating its height (19 m. 50), its first stone laid by Napoleon I in 1806, and its inauguration in 1836. The reverse side bears handwritten text and two obliterated Paris postage stamps dated April 8, 1887, addressed to Madame Andrée Ponsart in Gagny.
