View of the Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile in Paris, with inscription detailing its height (49.50 m), its construction under Louis-Philippe (begun in 1806, completed in 1836), and the reliefs depicting the Departure of 1810 (on the left) and the Departure of 1814 (on the right). Reverse: handwritten address to Mlle Victorine Broyoud in Forges, with sender's handwriting 'Eugénie' and a 5-centime French postage stamp canceled in Paris on January 11, 1911.
