Description

Postcard showing the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel in Paris, with an inscription in French and English describing its origin as an imitation of the Arc of Septimius Severus in Rome and its bronze chariot pulled by four horses. The reverse indicates the publisher 'IMPRIMÉ ILLUSTRÉ', a postage rate of 5 centimes, and a reference to the 'Journal Officiel' dated July 1, 1920.
