View of the inner courtyard of the National Library in Paris, with its classical facades and mullioned windows. The reverse has a handwritten inscription 'We think of you, Marcelle' and an address to Madame J. Carthaid, 14 rue de Fontaine, Grest. Green 5 centime postmark cancelled at D'Ales.
