Description

Interior view of Napoleon's tomb at the Chapel of the Invalids, constructed between 1843 and 1853 in red granite, with the ashes transported in 1840. The reverse bears a handwritten address to Monsieur Bonnard in Corbigny (Nièvre) and a 5-centime French Republic postmark canceled in Dijon on April 3, 1945.
