View of the Church of the Madeleine in Paris, presented as a copy of the Parthenon of Athens, begun in 1764. The pediment represents the Last Judgment by Lemaire, and the engraved bronze doors by Triqueti depict the Ten Commandments. The reverse indicates the publisher L. Bolsson, 50, rue du Temple, Paris, with a partially visible postmark and cancellation.
