View of the Church of Saint John the Baptist in Belleville, Paris, with its two Gothic towers and central portal adorned with a rose window. The printed text on the front relates its history: replacement of a chapel from 1548, founded in 1854 by Baron Haussmann, and completed in 1884 by architect Truchy. The reverse indicates the publisher L. Boisson, rue du Temple, Paris, and bears a postal stamp.
