Description

Statue of the Virgin with Child in wood, placed on an altar decorated with peacock motifs and white flower bouquets, in front of a geometric-patterned curtain. The reverse has a handwritten note dated July 6, 1949, mentioning the Church of Sainte-Odile at the Porte Champerret, built by Pierre l'Ermitte, and addressed to M. Paul and Jean Bardet in Combrérie. Two French stamps (8f and 3f) and a Swiss stamp are affixed, with a cancellation from Toulouse.
