Description

View of the central portal of Saint-Merri Church in Paris, with its Gothic sculptures and ornate architecture. The printed text indicates the history of the church, built from 1520 to 1612, and mentions that the remains of Saint-Merri are enclosed in a reliquary. On the reverse, a 25-centime postmark of the French Republic, cancellation from Paris on 26 November 1950, and handwritten address to Madame Léonie de la Tempellerie.
