View of the Saint-Jacques Tower in Paris, with a flower kiosk in the foreground and bare trees. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated July 15, 1953, addressed to 'My dear,' mentioning the tower as a pleasant place for a walk. The stamp and cancellation are visible at the bottom right.
