Description

Black and white view of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés church in Paris, with its imposing Gothic bell tower and pedestrians in the square. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated July 28, 1954, addressed to 'Chérie Amie', signed 'Charlotte', mentioning her imminent arrival and her state of fatigue. The postmark is canceled in Paris.
