Black and white view of the monumental staircase of the Grand Opera in Paris, adorned with columns, carved balustrades, and chandeliers. The reverse features handwritten text addressed to Mrs. Gambetta in Paris, a postmark dated 10 November 1936, a 25-cent postage stamp, and the publisher's indication: 'G. Guy, 8, Rue de la Convention, Paris'.
