Description

View of the Fontaine de l'Observatoire in Paris, a sculpted monument by Carpeaux, on the site of a former convent. The printed text mentions that Ney was executed there on December 7, 1815, and that his statue is located opposite the Bal Bullier. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence is addressed to Alfred Hébert in Barceau, with a note on the reverse about the correspondence not being accepted.
