View of the façade of the Basilica of Val-de-Grâce in Paris, with its dome and monumental portal. The printed text indicates its construction began under Louis XIV in 1645 and was completed in 1655 according to the plans of Mansard, Lemercier, and Leduc. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated Paris, January 19, 1909, addressed to Madame Lagheiat in Trist, with a 10-centime postage stamp and cancellation 'PARIS 80'.
