Description

View of the Military Hospital of Val-de-Grâce in Paris, published by J. H. in 1917. The publisher notes that the building was constructed by Mansart on the occasion of the birth of Louis XIV, with paintings by Philippe de Champaigne and frescoes by Mignard. The reverse side bears a handwritten address to 'Monsieur L. Boisson' in Morbihan, a Paris postmark dated 6 September 1932, and a 20-centime postage stamp.
