View of Paris City Hall with printed text detailing its history: founded in 1533 by Pierre de Viole, expanded under Louis-Philippe, destroyed in 1871 and reconstructed from 1878-1879 under Ballu. Reverse: handwritten correspondence addressed to Mrs. Lemaître, 10 Avenue de Tourgirard, Paris-XV, with a note on health and family plans. Postmark and cancellation not visible.
