Description

View of the City Hall of Paris, with an inscription indicating that the first stone was laid in 1593, completely destroyed in 1871 and rebuilt from 1876 to 1884 in the Renaissance style by architects Ballu and Deperthes. The reverse presents a French text indicating that foreign correspondence cannot be addressed on the front and must inquire at the post office.
