Description

View of Paris City Hall with a steamboat on the Seine in the foreground. Printed text on the front relates the history of the building: founded in 1533, expanded under Louis XIV, destroyed in 1371, and reconstructed under Ballu (1878–1879). Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated 1914, addressed to Mme Jeanne Fleury in Dijon, with a postmark and Paris cancellation.
