Description

Postcard showing the funerary monument of the Marquis de Vauban, sculpted by Etex in 1846, located at the Hôtel des Invalides. The printed text indicates that it was transferred to the columbarium in 1808 by order of Napoleon. The reverse mentions the edition by the Society of Friends of the Army Museum and the address of J. Hauser in Paris.
