Interior view of the Hotel des Invalides showing the tomb of Napoleon I in red granite from Finland, surrounded by 12 statues representing his victories and 54 flags taken at the Battle of Austerlitz. French postmark of 1917 canceled in Paris. Reverse: handwritten address to 'Madame and Monsieur Pénild' in Angers, with a postmark from Rouen (76) dated March 28, 1917.
