Description

View of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés church in Paris, with its current bell tower dated 1885. The printed text mentions the abbey founded in 557, the Merovingian kings buried in the church, and the paintings by Flandrin added in 1860. The reverse side features handwritten text dated February 10, 1909, addressed to Joseph Lang in Belfort, with two 5 pfennig German Empire stamps and a Strasbourg cancellation.
