Description

Obelisk of the Place de la Concorde in Paris, a pink syenite monolith from the ruins of Thebes in Upper Egypt, erected in 1830. Printed text on the front indicates its height (22 meters) and origin. The reverse bears the publisher É. Le Duby, imp. édit. 127, Rue du Nord, Paris.
