Description

View of the Conciergerie in Paris (4th arrondissement) with a tourist boat on the Seine and a bridge in the background. The reverse side features handwritten correspondence dated September 24, 1914, addressed to Mr. Benoit in Brives, and mentions the sender's sadness after the sadness of war. A 10 centimes postage stamp is affixed at the top left.
