Description

View of the Saint-Michel Fountain in Paris, erected in 1860 on the site of the old Saint-Michel Gate demolished in 1684, adorned with a Renaissance triumphal arch designed by Davioud. Reverse: 10-centime stamp, Paris 44 postmark from July 20, 1939, handwritten address to Monsieur Donny in Nevers, and a farewell message signed 'Affectueusement, Yvonne'.
