Description

Gilded bronze statue of the Genius of Liberty, work of J. Dumont, crowning the commemorative column of the July Days 1830. The printed text recalls that Charles X, by his ordinances of July 26, had violated the Charter, causing the definitive fall of the Bourbons. Reverse: handwritten address to 'Mademoiselle Aliée Pierre Clafos'.
