View of the Temple of the Madeleine in Paris, with its Ionic columns and sculpted pediment, under a clear sky. In the foreground, pedestrians and horse-drawn carriages are moving. Reverse: handwritten text dated September 13, 1921, addressed to 'M. Gajot', with mention of correspondence not accepted by all foreign countries. Stamp and postmark not visible.
