View of the Madeleine temple in Paris, with inscription indicating its construction started in 1761 under Louis XV, transformed into a Roman temple in 1806, and its pediment representing the Last Judgment. Reverse: postcard dated August 4, 1918, addressed to Machin Cournin, with handwritten message from L. Biechpourt.
