View of the Madeleine temple in Paris, with inscription detailing its history: started in 1764 under Louis XV, transformed into a Roman temple in 1806 and returned to worship in 1842. The pediment represents the Last Judgment. On the reverse, dated correspondence from December 12, addressed to Mlle Rachel Cuisinier in Langeais (Loir-et-Cher), with a French 10-centime stamp and cancellation.
