Description

View of the façade of the Temple of the Madeleine in Paris, with its Ionic columns and sculpted pediment, surrounded by horse-drawn carriages and pedestrians. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to M. Papire and Équais, in Tous les Moulinaux, with a note stating that correspondence on the front was not accepted by all foreign countries. Green 30-centime stamp canceled in Paris, 14 April 1904.
