Description

View of Place Vendôme with the Vendôme Column, erected between 1806 and 1810, 43 meters high and made up of 1,200 cannons taken from the Austrians at Austerlitz. Reverse: postcard sent to Madame and Monsieur Pohoro in Mantua, with handwritten text congratulating on the receipt of a small object. Red 20-centime stamp and postmark from Turin dated November 20, 1917.
