Black and white view of La Sorbonne in Paris, showing its classical architecture with columns and aligned windows, a lively street with a few pedestrians and a lamppost. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence dated July 4, 1912, addressed to Madame Guttman, with a note of 'cards and your kind words' and an address to La Varonne. A 10-centime French Republic postage stamp, postmarked in Paris on July 7, 1930.
