Perspective view of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Paris, viewed through the Arc de Triomphe, with an inscription at the bottom indicating the date 1914-1918. The reverse features a handwritten letter in French, a blue 40-centime stamp of the French Republic, and a circular postmark from Strasbourg dated May 12, 1919.
