Description

Colored postcard showing the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel in Paris, with an inscription detailing its history: erected in 1805 for Napoleon, destroyed in 1797, rebuilt in 1815. The current bronze quadriga replaces the original sculpted group. On the reverse, the card features a note about the correspondence on the front and a postmark.
