Description

View of the Grand Palais in Paris, with its imposing dome and columns, in the middle of a lively square filled with pedestrians and vehicles. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to 'Monsieur Gautier' in Lyon, with a note on the front stating that the correspondence was not accepted by all foreign countries. A red stamp is affixed at the top right, with a Parisian cancellation.
