Description

Panoramic view of the Palais de Chaillot with its monumental fountains and stairs, surrounded by classical buildings and visitors. On the reverse, printed text indicates the publisher 'PARIS — LES GRANDES EAUX' and a handwritten address to Madame and Monsieur M. Da Costa in Arcès (Gironde). Blue 8-centime stamp postmarked in Paris on July 12, 1941.
