View of the Panthéon in Paris, with detailed inscription about its history: built by Soufflot, dedicated to Sainte-Geneviève, converted into a temple of glory in 1806, then into the Panthéon in 1885. The pediment features frescoes depicting the history of Sainte-Geneviève and Joan of Arc, and the crypt houses the tombs of great men such as Marat, Rousseau, Voltaire, Victor Hugo, and Sadi Carnot. Reverse: handwritten message addressed to Madame Samat, rue Dragon, Montreuil, with a 20-centime French postage stamp and cancellation mark.
