View of the Panthéon in Paris, built by Soufflot, completed in 1764, dedicated to Sainte-Geneviève, and later converted for worship in 1806. The pediment is the work of David d'Angers, and the interior features frescoes depicting the history of the Convention by Sicard. In the background, the colossal group of the Monument to the Great Men, including Marat, Rousseau, Voltaire, Victor Hugo, Sadi-Carnot, and Gambetta. Reverse: postcard published by L. Boisson, Paris, with visible stamp and cancellation.
