View of the Petit Palais in Paris, with a row of horse-drawn carriages in front of the building. Printed text at the bottom: '843. Paris. The Little Palace of the Champs-Élysées.' On the reverse, a handwritten note dated February 18, 1917, addressed to 'Dear father and dear mother,' with a signature 'Roger' and a mention 'to Lavarday'.
