View of the gates of the tomb at Les Invalides in Paris, framed by two statues of figures in robes and crowns, with an inscription at the top: « JE DÉSIRE QUE MES CENDRES REPOSENT SUR LES BORDS DE LA SEINE AU MILIEU DE CE PEUPLE FRANÇAIS QUE J'AI TANT AIMÉ ». On the back, handwritten text mentions a day trip, the Bois de Boulogne and the Louvre Museum, addressed to M. Mangue in Clermont-Ferrand, with a 10-centime stamp and a postmark from Bâton (August 1911).
