Description

View of Paris City Hall, with inscription indicating the laying of the first stone in 1593, its complete destruction in 1871, and its reconstruction in Renaissance style by architects Ballu and Deperthes between 1876 and 1884. The reverse bears the inscription 'All foreign countries do not accept correspondence on the front, please inquire at the post office'.
