View of the Austerlitz Bridge in Paris, a metal arch bridge crossing the Seine, with moored barges in the foreground and a massive stone pillar on the right. The reverse has handwritten text dated 11 May, addressed to 'My dear Pauline', mentioning a trip to Reims and requests for provisions. The publisher is E.D. and the postmark is obliterated.
