Stone monument dedicated to the glory of French colonial expansion under the Third Republic, presented to the city of Paris in 1931 by the French Maritime and Colonial League. The central statue depicts an allegorical figure holding a flag, surrounded by sculpted figures. The reverse indicates the publisher 'E.M.' and the printer's address in Paris.
